Rhonda decided to keep a record of her weight gains and losses over six month period. The results are as follows:

Mouth 1 - +2 lbs
Month 2 - -1 lb
Month 3 - -3 lbs
Month 4 - +1 lb
Mouth 5 - -4 lbs
Mouth 6 - +3 lbs

How much was the total change in Rhonda's weight for this six month period?

    2 + 1 + 3 = 6

    1 + 3 + 4 = 8

    8 - 6 = 2 pounds lost
