I get the first pattern but I still do not get the second pattern. So please help me. Thank you.

The second pattern was:

4, 9, 16, 25

Here was my answer:

4 + 5 = 9
9 + 7 = 16

What number do you have to add to 16 to get 25?

Do you see a pattern with 5, 7, and your number?
