solution of resultant displasement move toward 1.5m east then 2m south and then 4.5m toward east

  • science -

    X = Hor = 1.5 + 4.5 = 6 m.
    Y = Ver. = -2 m.

    tanA = Y/X = 6 / -2 = -3
    A = -71.6 Deg. = 360 - 71.6 = 288.4 Deg.
    CCW.

    R = X/cosA = 6 / cos288.4 = 19 m. @ 288.4 Deg. = Resulting displacement.
