find the perimeter and area of a right triangle if the shortest side is 9 inches and the longest side is 41 inches

a^2 + b^2 = c^2
9^2 + b^2 = 41^2
81 + b^2 = 1,681
b^2 = 1,600
b = 40
The perimeter is the sum of the three sides.
Area = 1/2 base times height
