A sequence is defined recursively by a1=1,an=(an-1+1)^2. Write the first 4 terms of the sequence.

  • algebra 2 -

    a1=1
    a2=(a2-1+1)^2
    =(a1+1)^2
    =(1+1)^2
    =4
    a3=(a2+1)^2=5^2=25
    a4=(a3+1)^2=(25+1)^2=26^2=676
