You're on the right track. Jacob says that he doesn't feel old. He still feels like he did years ago. However, his body has gotten old.

so he still want to do thing he do in past?

Right. He doesn't like being imprisoned in his old body.

thanks very much ms. sue :)

You're very welcome, Mohammad.

In chapter 8 of the book WFE, Jacob says he's not ready to be old yet. To understand what he means by this, we need to explore what determines age and when someone becomes old.

Age is a measure of the duration that a person has lived since their birth. It is typically calculated in years, months, and days. However, simply measuring age based on the number of years isn't the only factor that determines when someone becomes old.

Feeling old can be subjective and varies from person to person. It is influenced by various factors such as physical health, mental well-being, lifestyle, and individual perspectives. While chronological age refers to the number of years someone has lived, biological age is a more accurate representation of a person's health and vitality. Some individuals may feel old earlier due to health issues or other circumstances, while others may maintain a youthful outlook despite their years.

Therefore, Jacob's statement about not being ready to be old yet suggests that he still feels youthful and is not ready to embrace the attributes commonly associated with being old, such as declining health or a change in lifestyle. Ultimately, the feeling of being old is a personal perception and can differ from person to person.
