find the circumference of the circle with a dimeter of 11/6 cm use 22/7 as an approximation of n

  • math -

    (If you insist to use π as 22/7 ...
    Using π as 22/7 ended in the early 70's when calculators became popular. I don't know of any texbook that still uses that approximation)

    2r = 11/6
    r = 11/12

    C = 2(22/7)(11/12) = 484/84 = 121/21 or appr 5.76
