A mass M2 (including the pulley and hanger) is balanced by two equal masses M1 (including the hanger) acting as shown in the diagram below.
(a). Derive a formula for angle θ that produces perfect static equilibrium.
(b). Given that, M1 = 15 kg and M2 = 10 kg; find the angle that produces perfect static
equilibrium.
