Why does everyone need to have a lawyer? What are the benefits?? I want to include this in my paragraph for the 6th amendment. Please make sure it’s on a 7th grade regent’s level.

6th Amendment
The Sixth Amendment (Amendment VI) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights which sets forth rights related to criminal prosecutions. We all have the right to a speedy trial and an impartial jury. Right to have a lawyer.
