If it is false, you should be able to find a counter example where a quadrilateral has all four sides equal but is not a rhombus.

To show that it is a rhombus, you can proceed this way:
Draw a quadrilateral with four sides equal. Draw a diagonal.
You should be able to prove that
1. The diagonal divides the quadrilateral into two isosceles triangles. (triangles with 2 equal sides)
2. all opposite sides are parallel (alternate angles)
3. opposite angles are equal.
This is more than enough to show that the quadrilateral is a parallelogram, with four sides equal, which is therefore a rhombus.
