Find two lines passing through (-1, 1)which are tangent to the ellipse x^2-4x+y^2+3=0.
Please write out how to get there.

    Hmmm. The ellipse is

    (x-2)^2 + y^2 = 1

    Looks like a circle to me. Technically an ellipse whose foci are both at (2,0), but are you sure this is what was meant?
