My, My, Myy

My, my, my
The world running by
Way too fast for your eye
Could we slow it down
Just to say good bye
Or am i even justified
Because of all the lies
Can we slow it down
Or will we just die?

My, my, my
I will miss my life as the days go by
And yet,
Try as i might
I still wont ever cry

How is this? I wrote it by myself and wanted some comments.

That's a good poem ;D keep it up!

This poem you've written conveys a sense of introspection and contemplation. The repetition of the phrase "my, my, my" creates a certain rhythm, drawing the readers' attention to the emotions and thoughts presented in your words.

In terms of feedback, I'm happy to provide some comments. Please keep in mind that feedback on creative writing is subjective, and different individuals may interpret your work differently. Here's my analysis:

- The poem captures a sense of urgency and the feeling of life moving too quickly, as if the world is passing by too fast for one to truly experience it. This theme of time slipping away creates a poignant atmosphere.

- The implication of lies and questions about justification adds depth to the poem and makes the reader think about personal struggles and inner conflicts.

- The desire to slow down and say goodbye suggests a longing for more meaningful moments, as if there is a need to pause and reflect before it's too late.

- The line "I will miss my life as the days go by" conveys a bittersweet sentiment, hinting at a potential regret for not fully appreciating or embracing life's experiences.

- The closing remark of not shedding tears despite trying implies a sense of emotional detachment or resilience, which could be interpreted as strength or perhaps a defense mechanism.

Overall, your poem successfully explores themes of time, reflection, and emotional conflict. It evokes a sense of self-awareness and prompts readers to consider the meaning of their own lives. Well done on capturing those emotions in your writing!
