Writeacher, I urgently need your help to check a few sentences on job.

1)When I go to the supermarket, first I get the trolley and then I go to the meat and fish section and finally to the check-out counter. I usually pay cash but sometimes by/with the credit card/I use the credit card. (Are all alternatives possible??
2) For my starter, I’ll have soup (not a soup) of the day and for my main course I’d like some chicken breast (a chicken breast?) with boiled potatoes and asparagus. Could I order the dessert later? Why don’t you have a home-baked (also home-made) raspberry cake?
3) What can a job involve? (Can you help me develop possible ideas?)
Working shifts, travelling abroad, answering the phone, filing documents, making photocopies, arranging meetings, developing new products, designing a new line of products, planning advertising campaigns, working overtime, skipping meals, mastering (having a good knowledge) of at least two foreign languages, being prepared to work in a team, possessing good communication skills.

1)When I go to the supermarket, first I get the trolley and then I go to the meat and fish section and finally to the check-out counter. I usually pay cash, but sometimes I use a credit card. (Yes the alternatives are possible, but awkward. Also, I underlined the part that doesn't make sense to me -- you take the trolley to get to the market? Or you take the trolley [in the store??] to get to the fish and meat section? It's not clear.)

2) For my starter, I’ll have the soup of the day, and for my main course I’d like a grilled chicken breast with boiled potatoes and asparagus. Could I order the dessert later? Why don’t you have a home-baked (also home-made) raspberry cake?

Also - having bookkeeping/accounting skills, having knowledge of and proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint (insert whatever program names you wish; I just used the most common ones among Microsoft Office's programs.)

1) In the first sentence, the use of "by/with" and "credit card/I use the credit card" are both correct alternatives. "By" and "with" can both be used to indicate the method of payment, and "credit card" and "I use the credit card" convey the same meaning. So, you can say "I usually pay cash but sometimes by credit card" or "I usually pay cash but sometimes with the credit card" or "I usually pay cash but sometimes I use the credit card."

2) In the second sentence, "soup of the day" is correct, as it refers to a specific soup that is made fresh each day. "Chicken breast" is also correct, as it refers to a single piece of chicken. However, you can also say "a chicken breast" to indicate that you are ordering one serving of chicken breast. As for the dessert, you can ask if you can order it later. The phrase "Why don’t you have a home-baked raspberry cake?" is also correct, and the use of "home-baked" and "home-made" are both acceptable, as they convey the same meaning.

3) When considering what a job can involve, there are several possible ideas you can develop. Here are a few examples:
- Working shifts: This means you may have to work during different hours of the day or night, depending on the schedule.
- Travelling abroad: Some jobs require traveling to different countries or locations for work purposes.

- Filing documents: Organizing and maintaining important files and documents.
- Making photocopies: Producing copies of documents or materials.
- Arranging meetings: Scheduling and coordinating meetings with individuals or groups.
- Developing new products: Working on creating and designing new products.
- Designing a new line of products: Creating and planning a series of new products within a specific category or brand.
- Planning advertising campaigns: Strategizing and organizing marketing campaigns to promote a product or service.
- Working overtime: Putting in additional hours beyond regular working hours.

- Mastering (having a good knowledge) of at least two foreign languages: Having a high level of proficiency in multiple foreign languages.
- Being prepared to work in a team: Being capable of collaborating with others and working together towards a common goal.
- Possessing good communication skills: Having the ability to effectively convey information and interact with others.
