Yes, i'm referring to the Poem. I don't understand how hate and ice can cause a world tradegy.

    Frost compared fire with desire and ice with hate.

    One extreme example is of Nazi Germany. The leaders desired more territory and to be rulers of Europe. At the same time they hated those who they considered inferior -- Jews, gypsies, and eastern Europeans.
