What is the ANS button for on Ti-83
Hi, I am learning about storing numbers on my Ti-83. I understand how to store a number, but I do not know what the ANS key is for, when I use it I get a different number because I use e^x--> ans-->enter, which gives me a much higher number. What is the point of doing this? Will i get a higher precision?

Hmmm. Would it not have been easier to look at your owner's manual than type in a question here?
Just do what I did: google TI83 calculator and read the answer online
