there are 22 students in johns class. new reading books cost 7 dollars each.johns classs raised 50 dollars washing cars. if there are 2 teachers in johns class, write and evaluate an expression to show how much more each teacher will have to pay to buy the new reading books

Y = (24x  50) / 2,
Eq: Y = 12x  25.
Y = Amt. each teacher must pay.
X = Cost per book.
I'm assuming each teacher will receive a book also.
