A toddler on a tricycle slowly rolls down a steep hill withour pedaling. It takes her six seconds to reach a speed of 8.1 m/s. Find the toddler's acceleration.

a=v/t
8.1 m/s / 6 = 1.35 m/s^2

how far has the toddler traveled?
d=vot + 1/2 at^2
(8.1)(6) + 1/2 (1.35)(6)^2
48.6+(.68)(36)= 73.08 m

did I set this up right?

The first part is correct, but they want you to assume an initial velocity (vo) equal to zero. You cannot use the final velocity for vo.
