What are the coordinates of the terminal point determined by t=7pi/6 ?

  • trig -

    Sketch an axis system and your angle and unit circle
    7 pi/6 is pi/6 or 30 degrees below the -x axis in quadrant three

    x = - cos 30 = sqrt 3/2
    y = - sin 30 = -1/2
