mae has a oval racetrack. 2 curves, each is 1/2 of the circle and each on a radius of 21". 2 straightaways connect the circle and are 46" long. what is the total distance around the circle?

d = pi*2r + 2*L,
d=3.14*42 + 2*46 = 223.88 in.=18.7 Ft.
