limit of (x+sin(x))/x, as x approaches 0

First, divide each term in the numerator by the denominator.

x/x + sin(x)/x
(x/x=1)
1+sin(x)/x
The Sandwich (or Squeeze theorem) states that the limit as x->0 of sin(x)/x is 1.
1+1=2
