Theta taa factroy produces equal number of 1/4kg packets and 1/2kg packets of tea. How many 1/4kg packets were produced from a totol of 45 tonnes of tea. Pliz explain

  • math -

45 tonnes is 45000 kg in the metric system. Since the number of large and small packets is the same, each pair uses up 3/4 kg of tea and there are
    45000/0.75 = 60,000 pairs of packets.
60,000 of the packets are small ones.
