What is the volume of a piece of iron (ñ = 4.4 g/cm3) that has a mass of 0.65 kg?
Since
Mass = Density x Volume,
Volume = Mass/density
= (650 g)/(4.4 g/cm^3)
= 147.7 cm^3
Note that I had to convert mass to grams to make the dimensions come out right.
