The midpoint of xy is point m (-12, 5) if the coordinates of x are (3, -3 what are the coordinates of y

• Algebra 1 -

y= (p,q)
-12 = (1/2)(p+3)
-24 = p + 3
p = -27

5 = (1/2)(-3+q)
10 = -3 + q
q = 13

so (-27, 13)
