find x an y intercepts

f(x)=7x^2+6x-7

f(x)=(x-7)^2-4

y-intercepts are easy. Just plug in x=0 and evaluate y

x-intercepts involve factoring the quadratic and pick each x-value where y=0.

1st:
y-intercept is at (0,-7)
f(x) = 7x^2 + 6x - 7
use quadratic formula to find y = 0 when x = (-3 ± √58)/7

2nd:
y-intercept is at (0,-4)
for x-intercepts, you want
x-7 = ±2
so, x = 5 or 9
