write the slope intercept equation for the line that passes through (-5,10)and
(-4,3)
first get the slope
slope = (10-3)/(-5+4) = -7
so y = -7x + b
but (-4,3) lies on it
3 = 28+b
b = -25
y = -7x - 25
I always check if the other point satisfies my equation
