2 Long vertical walls are separated by length l. A ramp is placed between the walls as shown below. A block is placed on the ramp and one end and slides without friction towards the other end. Find the ramp angle (theta) which results in the fastest trip from one end of the ramp to the other. use g as a constant

    Ramp length = L/cosA
    Acceleration rate = g sin A
    Trip time = sqrt (2L/a)
    = sqrt(2L^2/(g*sinAcosA]
    = 2L*sqrt(1/sin(2A)]
    That is a minimum 2A = 90 degrees
    A = 45 degrees
