a magnetic crane left a mass 1500 through a vertical height of 40m.calculate the work done in operating the crane

  • physics -

    W= M*g*H

    The mass M is presumably 1500 kg
    g = 9.8 m/s^2

    Do the multiplication.

    Work W will be in Joules with these units

  • physics -

    F=m*g
    =1500*9.8=14700N
    w=f*s
    =14700*40
    =58800J
