Good afternoon. My english professor wants me to give an example of highbrow, lowbrow and middlebrow from another art form - such as music, film or dance. Can you help me out I have no idea what this means.

    How does your professor define highbrow, lowbrow, and middlebrow?

    Here are some ideas for music:

    Highbrow - anything by Mozart or Sinelius or Bach, et al.

    Middlebrow - maybe Rogers and Hammerstein, for example

    Lowbrow- rap, heavy metal, etc.
