I enjoy reading mystery novels set in Europe in the past. The setting impacts the story because of the customs of the time.

However, some stories set in the present in the U.S. usually aren't impacted greatly by the present.

The book I read was a Realistic fiction book

that's a place school & home that what the story mostly happens at those two places

so for that question i wrote that the author use their creative writing skills to make the impact of the setting
