Am i doing this right?
((x^2)8))(x4)
=(x^3 12+32)(3)
Answer=3x^3 36+96

it depends on what you mean by (fg)(3)
What I think you are working with is a convolutions
f convolution g of 3 is
= (x4)^2  8 when x=3) or
= 18 or 7
