If the density of a certain alcohol is 0.785 g/mL, what volume of the alcohol would have a mass of 75.0g?

  • chemistry -

    mass = volume x density and
    v = m/d
    Substitute and solve for volume.

  • chemistry -

    since v=m/d
    75.0g/0.785g/ml
    = 95.5
