Composition II

posted by .

I have to write a causal analysis to the Frederick Douglass speech "What to the slaves is the Fourth of July?" I am having trouble doing this.

  • Composition II -

This is otherwise known as a cause-and-effect essay. Read about how to write one of these -- -- and then let us know what you think.

Clearly the effect is how you think slaves might have felt about 4th of July celebrations.

The causes? What events/conditions/situations do you believe made slaves feel this way.
