please explain every step

  • physics -

    1/2[Vo + (Vo + at)]t,
    Start on inside by removing parenthesis
    first:
    (1/2)t[Vo + Vo + at],
    Combine like-terms:
    (1/2)t[2Vo + at],
    Remove bracket by multiplying each term
    inside the bracket by (1/2)t:
    Vo*t + (1/2)at^2.
