If the odds of winning a raffle are 17:214, what is the probability of winning?

would it be 17/214?

17 out of 214.
79%.
17:214 is read like a fraction again.
So if you divide 17/214 you get 79%. Not sure what exact answer you're looking for. But hopefully this can get you started.
