I need to fill a 25ft by 25 ft circle with 1 inch of sand. How much sand will i need?

  • math -

If the circle really is 25' by 25', that means that the diameter = 25' and r = d/2.

Area of circle = pi (r^2)

Multiply area by depth, making sure to convert to same units.
