Solve using the quadratic formula. Express answers as exact roots and as approximate roots, to the nearest hundredth.
b) k^2  9k = 1
c) 8w^2 = 2  3w
Solve to the nearest hundredth.
b) 1.2x^2 + 0.5x  0.3 = 0

b. y = k^2  9k = 1.
Y = K^2  9K  1 = 0,
K = (9 + sqrt(81(4)) / 2=(9+9.22)/2
= 9.11, and 0.11.
Use same procedure for remaining problems.
