Show that the pH of a solution is -0.301 when its hydronium-ion concentration equals 2 M. Is the solution acidic or basic?

  • Chemistry -

    pH = -log(H^+)
    pH = -log(2) = -(0.301) = -0.301
    pH<7 acidic
