Technically one can't answer this question. Why? Because 100.3 g Ca(OH)2 added to 775 mL water will be more than 775 mL of solution. The definition of M and N is based on th final solution, not on how much water is added. The question should ask, What is......in 775 mL of SOLUTION. I will assume it is 775 mL of solution and not 775 mL water + the solid Ca(OH)2.

equivalent mass Ca(OH)2 = 75.09/2 (for the two OH ions attached.)
