A lawn service will fertilize a lawn at at a rate of 59cents per 100 square feet. What is the price they will charge to fertilize a 125foot x 140foot rectangular lawn? Express answer to the nearest cent.

    cost=area*rate
    =125*140 sq.ft * 59cents÷100 sq.ft
    =17500 sq.ft * $0.59 / 100 sq.ft
    = $103.25
