How do I find the perimeter of a triangle DMG which has coordinates D(3,-2), M(3,4) and g(1,-2) - my son can't do the problem and I don't remember how to do it anymore

perimeter = sum of the distances between the sides DM, MG and GD.

To calculate the side DM, we calculate the distance between points D and M as follows:
DM
= sqrt((Mx-Dx)²+(My-Dy)²)
= sqrt((3-3)²+(4-(-2))²)
= sqrt(0²+6²)
= 6

You can calculate MG and GD similarly.
