5 blue and 3 green what are probabilty of getting blue

Well there are 5 blue and 3 green. That means that 5 out of 8 are blue. (I got 8 by adding 5 and 3). So, to find the probability of getting one blue, you just do 5 divided by 8. Your answer would be 5/8.
At least, I'm assuming that's what you meant by your question.
