I do not understand how to find out what number come's between 0.425 and 0.475 would it be \$ 4.25- \$4.75

It's hard to equate 0.425 with money.

0.425 is 425/1000 or 425 parts of 1,000.

0.475 is 475 parts of 1,000.

Please see my other answer for many numbers between 0.425 and 0.475.
