please help i seriously don't understand any of these!!
solve by factoring:
1.x^3-12x = x^2
simplify
1.4c/12c^5
2. a^2x/a
3. x^3y^4/2 x^2y^6
you seriously need to do some effort.
The first, put it in the form
x^3-x^2-12x=0
x(x^2-x-12)=0
x(x-4)(x+3)=0
x=0;4;-3
then I will do one of the others.
3) change it to read
x^3/x^2 * y^4 /2y^6
x*1/2y^2
or x/2y^2
