need help in solving how many miles can i drive on 60 gallons of gas, with the Mpg 30 in the city, and 42 highway. I would like all the steps, never had algebra before, so i am very lost.

    You can't solve this problem without that information.

    Of do you want to know the number of miles for only city driving and only highway driving?

    60 * 30 = 180 miles

  • College Algebra - correction -

    60 * 30 = 1800 miles

  • College Algebra -

    m = 60(30) = 1800
    m = 60(42) = 2520

  • College Algebra -
