How to press the value of log, to evaluate log, to find the unknown log using EL-531WH, advance D.A.L

I have a very old DAL, a EL-509VH,

but they should work the same way.

to take log 35
I enter:
log
35
=

to get 1.544....

some calculators require you to enter the number , then pressing the log.

To evaluate logarithms and find the unknown log using the EL-531WH calculator, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the calculator by pressing the AC/ON button.

2. Make sure that the calculator is set to the correct mode. For logarithmic calculations, the calculator should be in the COMP mode. If it is not in COMP mode, press the MODE button and use the arrow keys to select COMP. Press the EXE button to confirm the selection.

3. To evaluate a logarithm, enter the base of the logarithm followed by the value inside the logarithm. For example, to evaluate log base 2 of 8, enter "2" (the base), then press the LOG button, and finally enter "8" (the value inside the logarithm). Press the EXE button to get the result.

4. To find the unknown log, enter the base of the logarithm followed by the result you want to find. For example, to find the value of log base 5 of x, enter "5" (the base), then press the LOG button, and finally enter the value you want to find represented by "x". Press the EXE button to get the result.

Note: The EL-531WH calculator uses base 10 logarithms by default, but you can also calculate logarithms with different bases by using the "change of base" formula.
