Hi there, I feel so embarrassed that even after you give me the answer, i don't even know how to format it. I most definately need to learn this and quickly! if I expect to make my grade. I really apologize for my shortcomings.

But, how is it that you write out the problem, is this entered in a fraction kind of way? For instance, the x+9 on top and the -19 at the bottom? Or is it just written out like this? x+2-19? all across?

Again, thank you so very much for your time and patience.

    (x+9)/(-19) does quite nicely.
