I need help with renaming fractions. How do you rename 2/9 in eighteenths? Please help.
Whatever you do to one side you have to do to the other. In this case whatever you do to the top you must do to the bottom. To get the denominator in eighteenths you must times it by two, therefore times the numerator by two.
2/9 = 4/18
