How many possible combinations for an 8-digit binary number are there? How did you get this an answer?

    Can the numbers be repeated? If not, this is combination of arranging r items out of n items:

    nCr = n!/r!(n-r)!

    n = 10, r = 8

    5! = 5 factorial = 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 = 120
