I am trying to lable a Paramecium

I know for a plant cell, the outer "layer" is called the cell membrane.
what would the name for it be on a Paramecium? I have tried looking it up but the diagrams are confusing

thanks!

When it comes to the structure of a Paramecium, the outer "layer" or boundary is called the plasma membrane. The plasma membrane is a semi-permeable membrane that surrounds the entire cell, enclosing its cytoplasm and all organelles within. It acts as a barrier, controlling the movement of substances into and out of the cell.

To verify this information and gain better clarity, you can refer to reliable sources such as biology textbooks or educational websites. These sources often provide labeled diagrams and detailed explanations to help you understand the structures of different organisms. Additionally, you can search for specific terms like "Paramecium cell structure" to find relevant images, articles, or videos that can visually represent the different components of a Paramecium.
