F(x)=5/x+4 ; g(x)=1/x
f(x)=x/x+5 ; g(x)=6/x
did you mean
f(x) = 5/(x+4) ?
if so, the
f o g = f(g(x))
= 5/(1/x + 4)
= 5/(1/x + 4x/x)
= 5/((1+4x)/x)
= 5x/(1+4x)
the domain of that is :
all real values of x , x ≠ -1/4
if you meant it the way you typed it:
fog = f(g(x))
= 5/(1/x) + 4
= 5x + 4
domain would be all real numbers
do the second the same way, I have the same problem with the way you typed it.
